Les ROAD RIDERS "The night is ours" 5/5

Le projet initial était un album en concert. Puis, le groupe a pris conscience de son potentiel et l'idée d'un CD studio à part entière a germé. C'est le deuxième me direz-vous, oui, hormis le fait que le précédent avait une configuation plus réduite. "This night is ours" est vendu en package cartonné avec livret intérieur. L'ensemble est dôté d'un design de toute beauté. Chaque page a pour fonds un coin de l'Amérique ou une photo du groupe en concert, et les couleurs sont vives. Les 11 chansons portent la griffe de plusieurs artistes de Nashville dont Becky Hobbs, Don Goodman, Donna Ulisse (une brune qui a sorti un CD) et Steve Dean, que Highway FM a rencontré à Nashville, et qui est la moitié du duo James/Dean. S'il faut une demi heure pour aller de l'aéroport de Los Angeles jusqu'au coeur d'Hollywood, la musique des Road Riders collent idéalement au décor Californien. L'album pourrait être diffusé sur KZLA 93.9 "Discover New Country" tant la qualité et le tempo sont léchés. Linda Jacob et son groupe a mis la barre très haut. Linda dispose d'une voix blues à la Bonnie Raitt, et celle de Philippe Laiss est beaucoup plus West Coast. C'est beau à écouter, de "Bettin' my heart on you" façon Corvette à débrider sur La Cienega Boulevard, ou "You just never know" idéal pour une amourette en haut du parc Griffith qui domine la Cité des Anges. Il y a une réserve de talent prodigieuse ici, et je vous jure qu'ils n'ont pas eu besoin de m'inviter au resto pour que j'écrive ces lignes. C'est le coeur qui s'exprime. Jean Marc Bouton est à la pedal-steel, dobro et accordéon, David Adrian (batterie), Alain Lustig (guitares), Philippe Laiss (chant, choeurs, bass et claviers) et Linda assure certaines sections de guitares acoustique, les percussions et les choeurs. François Hoernel est un musicien additionel sur "Forever for a while". "She's still rockin' in Boston" est aussi un hit évident pour les radios. Les Road Riders Transcendent les limites de la country pour toucher un public bien plus large, et ils auraient pu rester quasi inconnu si Françoise Roy, la Rédactrice en chef de France 2 n'avait pas croisé leur parcours. The album could be diffused on KZLA 93.9 "Discover New Country" so much quality and the tempo is licked. Linda Jacob and its group put the quality very high. Linda has a voice blues in Bonnie Raitt, and that of Philippe Laiss is much more West Coast. It is beautiful to listen, of "Bettin' my heart on you" Corvette way with unslung on Cienega Boulevard, or ideal "You just never know" for a passing fancy in top of the Griffith park which dominates the City of the Angels. There is an extraordinary reserve of talent here, and I swear you that they did not need to invite me to the restaurant so that I write these lines. It is the heart which is expressed. Jean Marc Bouton is in the pedal-steel, dobro and accordion, David Adrian (battery), Alain Lustig (guitars), Philippe Laiss (song, choruses, bass and keyboards) and Linda ensures certain sections of guitars acoustics, the percussions and the choruses. François Hoernel is a musician additionel on "Forever for has while". "She' S still rockin' in Boston" is also an obvious hit for the radios. Road Riders Transcendent limits of the country to touch an audience much larger, and they could have remained quasi unknown if Francoise Roy, the Writer as a head of France 2 had not crossed their course.
